We respect your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data on wjood-sa.com and across our services — in compliance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), issued by the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA).

1. Who we are

Wjood Technology (referred to as "we" or "Wjood") is a software company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. For privacy-related inquiries: hello@wjood-sa.com.

2. Data we collect

a) When you fill the contact form

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Company or organization name (optional)
  • Your message content

b) Automatic technical data

  • IP address (for security only, not stored long-term)
  • Browser and device type
  • Pages visited and timestamps

c) Data stored locally in your browser

We store your theme preference (light/dark) in your browser's localStorage — this data is never sent to us.

3. How we use your data

  • Responding to inquiries via the form, email, or WhatsApp.
  • Preparing quotes and executing agreed projects.
  • Improving the site via aggregated, anonymized statistics.
  • Legal obligations when required (e.g. ZATCA e-invoicing).

We do not sell your data to any third party, nor do we use it for advertising.

4. Who we share with

We share your data only with:

  • Service providers we use to run our business (form receiving, hosting, email). They are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Government authorities when officially requested under Saudi law.

We will not share your data with any other party without your explicit consent.

5. Data retention

  • Form messages: Up to 24 months from last contact — deleted afterward unless converted to a contract.
  • Client data (contracts): 10 years per Saudi e-invoicing requirements.
  • Technical logs: 90 days then auto-deleted.

6. Your rights under PDPL

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete (the "right to be forgotten") — unless we are legally required to retain it.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • File a complaint with the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence.

7. Security

  • Site connection is encrypted (HTTPS).
  • Passwords in our clients' systems are hashed; we don't see them.
  • Client data is hosted on secure servers in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region (per client choice).
  • Access to sensitive data is restricted to Wjood staff on a need-to-know basis.

8. Cookies

Our site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. For details, see our Cookies page.

9. Children

Our services target businesses and organizations — we do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you discover that a child submitted data, contact us to delete it immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for 30 days. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of the update.

11. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute is subject to the competent courts in Riyadh.
