3. What we use specifically
a) Local storage (localStorage)
We save in your browser's localStorage:
- Light/dark theme preference — so your choice persists when you return.
This data is never sent to our servers — it stays only in your browser.
b) Strictly necessary cookies
The contact form (hosted via an external provider like Web3Forms) may set technical session cookies necessary for operation while submitting your message. They are deleted when you close the browser.
c) What we do NOT use
- ❌ Cross-site tracking cookies.
- ❌ Google Analytics or behavioral analytics tools.
- ❌ Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, or ad networks.
- ❌ Heatmaps or session recording (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, etc.).
If we add any analytics tool in the future, we will update this page and request your explicit consent.
4. How to control this data
Delete local storage
You can delete our site's localStorage at any time:
- Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → select Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search for wjood-sa.com → remove.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
Block all storage upfront
You can block all cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The site will still work, but:
- Your light/dark theme preference won't be remembered (your system setting is used each time).
- The contact form may face issues when submitting.
Private browsing
If you browse in "Incognito" or "Private" mode, all data is deleted when you close the window.
